Heyy! I’m a thirteen year old girl living in this very tiny country in the world called the UAE (which for all those scratching their heads right now, is a country in the Gulf) which is a really multi-cultural sort of a place where you have people from all ethnicities live together. My friends call me Lee, I’m pretty much okay if you call me that too, cause most of the folks at my school have some weird difficulty in pronouncing my real name, which I shan’t be taking the trouble to mention.

Anyway, I live in this totally over-packed, traffic-jammed city with my parents and psychopathic lil’ brother. and I live what can only be called the boring big city life; fortunately the mall’s just opposite my house, and there’s this huge park behind so I can drop in, anytime.

Okay, now about me. I’m a short, cheery, tomboyish, outspoken, frank, very imaginative and creative, funky, carefree, music-loving, humorous, sarcastic, cute, witty, indomitable, and umm, stubborn and short tempered chocohalic and bibliophilic teenager, who just loves to hang in my den (my very personalized and eternally messy room), lie on my bed, close my eyes, listen to music and think about what life would be like if I wasn’t me. I hate Math (very, very, very, much), and what you should know, is that I’m a major daydreamer, I’m capable of slipping into morning fantasizing anywhere and everywhere. I find daydreaming, reading and writing the best ways to escape harsh reality; something which I’m continually striving to do.

In my spare time, I love reading and can read just about anything, from the composition on water bottles to 600 pages Charles Dickens to kids books when I was once stranded at the airport. I ventured into Shakespeare’s Macbeth and then ventured right out, so far it’s the only book that did not agree with me *grins*.

I also love writing, and hope to become a writer when I grow up alongside becoming an archaelogist, environmentalist, freelance photographer, zoologist and social worker. How I am going to manage so many jobs is beyond me, but I can't be bothered.

Currently, I write fanfiction, mostly MMAD, cause I'm a diehard shipper, but I read other stuff as well. I'm working on ideas for novels as well and write shitty poetry when I'm bored.

I have a tendency to burst into violent hysterics with the camera when I'm in some picturesque location ... our last holiday to India had me jabbing the poor cam's button every second; I've got over 300 photos, sigh and our camera just retired.


I like daydreaming, because it can be a life saver in maths period, when our boring teacher is droning on and on and on about dumb Euclid and Pythagoras and all the other prats who invented the horrible subject and then died and left us to study it. I don't like Physics as well, but I can stay awake during class only because our teacher is like the best person in the world.


I suck at sports, but I like swimming cuz I like the water; cycling cuz I like to feel the wind in my hair and ice skating cuz I like those circus performers twirling on one leg.

I also like chocolate, pizza and hogging. I am a self confessed music lover. I play the piano and love the flute.
